An incredibly raw and cynical look at what it takes to be a police officer in Los Angeles. The story is over the top and has some intense action that comes in fits and starts. It is a haunting examination of a dangerous job in a district that seems more like a war zone, and the toll it takes on the officers charged with policing it. Good acting. Worth watching.

worth a watch

End of watch met training Day and had an ugly baby.

Pretty gripping film about police squad car life. Think of Training Day, Collateral, and Crash mixed together and cooked on a crack spoon. Lol. A day or so after watching, I am a little concerned at its blurring of the line between justice and vigilantism. But in the moment it is very well paced and well acted.

Two police officers are on night patrol in Los Angeles. One is Ray Mandel, a veteran. The other is novice Nick Holland. The two have been ordered to pay close attention, as there are currently two police killers walking around looking for new victims. In addition, they have to deal with a corrupt cop who wants revenge.

Good performances from the cast. Too much happens if you consider what would follow from the events the patrol encounters in reality, but looking past that this is quite decent.

The most confusing Ford commercial I've ever seen.
