Not particularly funny, but charming enough. The Phoebe Bridgers reference made me laugh. Ngl her best friend is the gayest sounding/acting straight guy portrayal in cinema.

Predictable and cringey, yet I couldn't look away. Young me could have really used this growing up, and I'm glad newer generations are getting their fill of teen cringe dramedies. I love Kristin Wiig with my whole heart, but sometimes this screenplay was so bad guys. Absolutely no nuance. Like she found what tweets were popular on sapphic twitter and wrote them into a movie. Nothing too different from your average cishet teen romcom. I give 5 Megan Mullalys out of 10.

Enjoyable enough. Ending is a little convoluted and I’m not sure the emotional resonances really land but it was cute. Was dying at the couple fucking to AOC speeches tho

Should have just stuck to being a vaguely underdog sports-themed lesbian high school romcom, at which it at least rose to the level of comfortably mediocre. But the introduction of this very poorly thought out “mystery” story with her trying to uncover the vandal - with every clue being useless and a sudden and awkward but obvious solution - ruins it.
