Crypt of the Living Dead

Solid vampire flick although most of the action happens in the final act. Some really cool ocean beach shots. Has a good ending, too.

Better than the confusing beginning made it seem. Doesn't add anything new to the vampire film genre, but setting the story on a remote island near Turkey (?) gives it an eerie, isolated atmosphere. Main cast is fine: Damon suits well in these two-faced roles, Prine is likable as is Shepard who I've lately seen in several Spanish genre films. Cinematography, music, etc. are adequate, but like said, locations make the film. Fans of European Gothic horror could do much worse than see this.
