Damascus Cover

A suspenseful movie and an enjoyable genre, but the story is somewhat handicapped by less than stellar writing. Jonathan Rhys Meyers gave a charismatic performance. John Hurt was also good. Most of it had a good spy thriller feel. Olivia Thirlby was good but her role was somewhat predictable. The love story part was never convincing. Excellent music and production quality. Overall, I enjoyed it, despite some of the story details which were a bit less than satisfying.
