A film-watching experience as much enjoyable as living in poverty in the middle of nowhere in the 1930s and looking after your simpleton relatives for all eternity. Fails to capture any childlike wonder or innocence, deromanticises Ireland to the point you'd never want to visit, and hardly has any point to it, just a bunch of adults "finding themselves" or finding recourse in each others' presence. If ever a movie desperately needed a massive kick up the pants...
