When Temple's miners strike gold they send Jake to file the claim. Dana is in the Recorder's office and overhears. He and his men kill Jake and forge new deeds. Addison "Jack" Randall had never had a major role, but Monogram tries and make him their singing cowboy star! Forgettable voice and average looks. Doesn't help that it's Robert N. Bradbury in the directors chair. Thankfully it's among the last films Bradbury did! He won't be missed. With him gone, hopefully the cowboys in town will have a chance to look good. Sadly for Randall he didn't have the chance this time since this was a average poverty row western.
