I can't quite put my finger on what didn't work for me here, but I know I'd rather rewatch Shakespeare in Love.

I love, love this movie!!!

My favorite movie by far. Not period accurate but still...

Slows a few times & boasts rhymed dialogue no one would use. A few pretty breasts hi light the heavy duty romance peppered with occasional feminist barbs. Surprisingly absorbing.
