A haunting that inhabits not the character's house but his head. This is a good horror movie for the mental health generation even if it occasionally resorts to unnecessary CGI face stuff. I think it actually benefitted from me having to break it up into several chunks to get it watched as a nine year old who inhabits my own house continually woke up earlier and earlier each morning. Teetered a little too close to Dave Made a Maze but avoided coming off anything like Dreamcatchers.

a bit derivative, fight club mixed with hereditary, but ultimately done well. worth your time.

Some really great prosthetic work and body horror imagery.

Gostei da abordagem no tema 'amigo imaginário'. Perde um pouco da força ao final, mas é muito efetivo durante quase todo o trajeto até chegar lá. Fãs de terror vão gostar.

Schwarzenegger was an ok Durden type. Interesting enough to watch through the cringe.

Very Clive Barker type of film, which for me isn’t preferable, but fans of his works should look into this. It has some decent moments, but the fantasy logic it uses at times is tiresome, and it’s not exactly scary. Daniel Isn’t Great, unfortunately.

It feels like a mixture of many big horror movies we all have seen before, and yet there is something in this movie that makes it look like a fresh indie horror movie. It was hard to sympathize with the characters, and I really do not understand what Mom's role is in this movie.

Entertaining, but ultimately left me with nothing particularly interesting to remember it by.

Half suspenseful thriller, half fractured fairy tale, this allegory of mental illness is engrossing thanks to fanciful direction and two magnetic central performances.

Does a great job of being both sensitive and shocking. Obviously owes a loving debt to Cronenberg's psych-horror classics. Worth watching to see Patrick Schwarzenegger go full Patrick Bateman.

A good idea here and there, some nice visual effects, but ultimately pointless. A Schwarzenegger without dialect is just a regular human being. At least he sticks to his austrian roots by giving a near perfect rendition of...Falco? And "Adam Egypt Mortimer" needs to be some kind of spoof.
