Top badass moment? Ever had a bad day? You know, the ones where every decision you take is wrong, despite trying to do the right thing? Sarah has. I guess that's badass, even though, somewhat unfairly, the opposite never ever seems to happen. Fortunately I learnt something from this film that should help me in future; never pick up hitchhikers, even if you first run them over and then feel bad about it. Just leave them for the birds as roadkill. No cats, chainsaws or decapitations.

A decent enough French psycho-killer thriller. Solid performances throughout, and a plot that moves from moody, to visceral, and on to tragic, in just a few beats.
