Dark Encounter

Wow! I haven't had a visceral movie experience like this since Interstellar. An alien visitor movie, with a big twist. Excellent!

The 20 is for the orchestral score alone, the rest of the film is sordid slime. Why would spacefaring ETs, probably near the top of the Kardashev scale, travel thousands of light years to inform a family, posthumously, of what actually happened to their daughter? Suffice it to say, this being a British production, they definitely 'lost the plot' (yes, that's a double entendre) with this one. As the inimitable AVGN used to say (and still does), "What where they thinking"!

nothing good. well, soundscapes are prolly appropriatelly chosen but adding em to that visual sequence generates zero value.
