It gets a lot less scary the older you get.

Oh no! The Tooth Fairy! Incredibly predictable and not even close to scary.

Well the monster was scary for all of 30 seconds in the film. That's something. However, 30 seconds of entertainment in about 90 minutes is a terrible ratio that makes for a terrible movie.

"what if tooth fairy but evil" should be way more fun than this. come on, she takes bits of your shed skeleton away in the night without you noticing, don't relegate it to a smidge of backstory in a typical 2000s jumpscare movie

I'm not even going to describe how terrible this movie is......

Waited and waited and waited and waited for something interesting to happen......and then the theater lights came on.

I was kinda entertained by it, but no, by no means is it good. The writing is absolutely terrible, above all else, and they fail to create a convincing atmosphere using what could have been an interesting premise. It was stupid all the way, but I've seen far worse films. Also, PG-13 horror films. Heh. That usually screams studio interference.

Here's a drinking game for you: Everytime they mention or you see teeth or flashlights, take a swig. The end of the movie is that much better for it.

I'm no scientist, but I'm pretty sure the lightning that's reflecting on this creature through the entire last half counts as a light source. Everything in this movie exists to be stupid.

There’s a point about 10 minutes in when you’re thinking “what’s the deal with the negative reviews?” – a nice folkloric set-up and Liebesman’s talent for jump scares gets this off to a reasonable start, but once the true nature of the evil presence is revealed, the film bogs down into a lifeless and, yes, toothless journey through dark tunnels and voids of blackness coming to allegedly terrifying light – performers do their best, but can only travel so far with the material handed to them.

Darkness Falls is a one trick movie that gets old after the opening credits. Utter crapulence!

Typical PG horror movie where they try to build suspense, these type of saccharin sweet type of flicks don't usually work, and this one follows the trend.

This absolutely petrified me as a kid. I'm pretty sure I'd find it funny if I watched it nowadays, seeing as it's about...you know, an evil tooth fairy.

A horror movie about the "tooth fairy." I am surprised there aren't more; I find the tooth fairy concept to be really creepy. This movie takes full advantage of that inherent creepiness for full effect.

Above average modern horror. Still not scary, though

Incredibly stupid. It supplies a few laughs, but is pretty boring overall.

Cool idea but nothing more. It could have been 25 minutes long and nothing would have been lost. Overall, there are more unintentional funny moments than there are intentional scary moments.

This one has no story whatsoever, surprisingly enough, it has charachters who interact with each other, but they don't really do anything after the first 40 minutes. They are just scared in a dark house and do random stuff. A few people die, others don't. That's all.

Is this the one with the tooth fairy? Pretty dumb...

Not sure if director Liebesman have done any major movies before this. For sure this is a major failure assisted on the "best" way by two screenwriters. What a mess. One the worst movies in 2003.

A friend of mine in high school highly recommended this movie to me and a couple other friends one day. So we all sat and watched it together. I never looked at that friend the same way again.

It's incredible the lack of creativity of some horror movies. Tooth Fairy, boogieman, which will be the next stupid story?
