Engaging for the most part, but fails to bring together disparate plot threads in a satisfying manner. Probably would have been more interesting as a standalone feral child story than it is as a sequel to The Woman.

An impressive opening establishes and expands on the series' tensions, iatrogenic harm and the struggle for real care within institutions coming to the fore in the form of a warm, queer male nurse skeptical of his employer's fealty to the Church. Unfortunately, the film succumbs to cliché in the Church sections, and an extremely fast & loose approach to the logistics of the story makes it hard to take anything too seriously till the total wash of an ending. Worth seeing as a wasted opportunity.
