Gorman has an interesting story to tell, but he also knows how to pace it. I really liked the Adams/Pratchett kinda wacky humor he spurts. One of the better stand-ups I watched.

Hard not to love. Gorman's best work. Totally random, very funny, and genuine. Watch it.

To be honest, when it started I was all like "oh, great, narrative standup" - and who knows what a Googlewhack is? Then I found myself in a bit of a struggle to be bored by Gorman's rubbish - which I lost. It's a cockamamie story of a ridiculous obsession, but it's riveting, funny, and by the end it really has you on the edge of your seat. His sense of structure and timing is incredible.

Funny, tense, surprising and brilliantly crafted.

Top badass moment? Dave Gorman managing to e-mail random people all over the world and they invite him to come and stay. That makes me a tiny bit jealous. In comparison, this afternoon I got rung up by a random sales person and he ended up putting the phone down on me; aren't I the one who's meant to do that to him? (Memo to self: priority for 2018, work harder on my charisma.) No cats, chainsaws or decapitations.

A great little tale which probably didn’t deserve a series, but perhaps needed a tad longer than this. Gorman’s always enjoyable, although the hammy OTT bursts in his performance do become a little too much too often in the second half. This is avoided if you read the book, which I seem to remember being better as it contains more details and works at a slower pace.

One of the best live performances I've ever seen, a marvellously funny two-hour Powerpoint-and-stand-up-comedy jaunt through Dave Gorman's Googlewhack Adventure. Gorman is a natural comedian and his true-story tale here is outstanding, a genuinely hilarious and enthralling look at the chain of madness a single email set off..
