The first of two 1950 espionage films starring Howard St. John as David Harding, Counterspy (1950), which was a popular radio drama that lasted for 15 years between 1942-1957. And it was alright for a B-thriller. A little convoluted because they wanted to educate the audience about foreign spy operations and how they chase them down while also bringing the typical action associated with this type of movie. But with that, the hour plus was packed.
