Days of Violence

Surprisingly bleak spaghetti western that takes place during civil war and shows the brutality of both parties. It's more amibitious than the usual genre fodder as it spans a couple of years and doesn't follow the usual trail of revenge. Mediocre budget keeps this from reaching the top of the genre but it's still an above average spaghetti that should please genre fans. It's also the first film from Peter Lee Lawrence where I felt that he suited the role. Music by Bruno Nicolai.
