Dead Man on Campus

Overall, not bad. But way too close to GOD AWFUL for its own good.

The protagonist is kind of sympathetic, but that's it for this very misguided slapstick comedy. The story is ridiculous at every turn, and still manages to be underwhelming.

The surprising thing here is that after being previewed as a trashy piece of crap that probably makes no sense & has a bad premise, the movie somehow maintains focus & becomes interesting. The characters & situations are quite real while nevertheless psychotic & seriously funny.

It was dumb, with some good parts. Watch it if you have nothing better to do and you're curious about it.

Why would anyone cast that talentless douchebag from Saved By the Bell as the lead in a movie? Especially one that is ostensibly supposed to be funny?

Huh. Can't believe I forgot to rate this (watched it in... January, perhaps (in 2011)). I remember it being Not Good, albeit not offensively so, with some amusing stuff in there and a couple of surprisingly spirited performances.

My life would be much easier if my roommate killed himself.

It's nice to see Mark-Paul Gosselaar show off his true acting skills by shying away from his academic roles...oh wait, never mind.

Throughout the entire film, hilarious things, sometimes key to the plot, sometimes completely random, happen regularly. Thanks to a light use of a dark theme and a bunch of colorful characters, it's extremely funny any quality mindless entertainment. Really good!

This movie is much better than you would think, it is actually very funny, and moves along at a brisk enough pace to keep anyone interested.

Wacky premise and humour, which is entertaining enough to make this at least a decent flick.

This isn't the greatest movie but I find it so enjoyable because it's so... I want to say bad but it's not that either. I don't know why, but I find it funny.

Although somewhat amusing, this film is more of a drama than a comedy, and it would have worked out so much better if it had been the other way around.

Saw this in theatres when I was 11 years old, and it now seems ridiculous to me that MTV Films would financially back a teen comedy with such an insensitive subject matter. That said, the movie is surprisingly inoffensive (at least if memory serves me right). Nothing that shocked my young sensibilities too badly. Maybe if it were more offensive it'd be more memorable, but as is it has its moments, and the leads are pretty good. Zack Morris went to college and became a creep.
