A run-of-the-mill scary movie. It follows the rules of the book, lonely girl in an old house, a ghost in the mirror, scary noises during night, etc.. Nothing special

Thriller? If Brittany Murphy, with her swollen fish lips and matted musk ox hair extensions walking slowly around a house looking for a sandwich and watching home movies sounds thrilling to you then queue this up pronto. If youre allergic to being scared, this movie is a must watch. If youre particularly frightened of bathing, this movie may have some chilling moments. The most troubling scene was an extreme close up of Brittany Murphy putting on lipstick. As she puckered her massive mouth mater

It's quite slow but, if you're clever you can entertain yourself with ghost/video/memories and sexual repression/patriarchal hypothesizing. Unfortunately i'm not so got a dull haunted-houser with a little -what I call- 'Identity horror' and some badly done found-footage stuff.

Well if you are only as good as your last film, then it's a little sad for Brittany Murphy's to have been this one. Don't get me wrong, Murphy as always put in a good performance, but the film itself was excruciatingly slow at times and found myself getting lost through boredom. It is a very cliche ghost film and whilst the ending is supposed to be left as some kind of twist, it fell a bit flat and left you wondering whether you got the ending right or not!

A crossover between When a Stranger Calls and The Shining (I don't intend to compare both), Deadline, one of Brittany Murphy's last films, is depressingly bad: it is totally reverent to the formula, and incapable of creating a decent atmosphere. Brittany seems curiously disattached from her character, almost sleepy.

Not only is it totally unoriginal and thoroughly predictable, it's also mind-numbingly boring. Most of the 80-minute runtime consists of Murphy walking slowly through a dimly-lit house. Occasionally a door will creak. One time a chair falls over. The biggest moment of peril comes when the bathtub overflows (oh no, what about the parquet floor!). It's seriously tedious stuff.

Genç yaşta ölen Brittany Murphy'nin son filmi. Bir tür perili ev filmi. Yalnız kalmak isteyen bir yazar, kaldığı evde çığlıklar duyup, ruhların gezdiğini fark eder. Eski evde yaşananları kamera kasetleriyle öğrenen Brittany, sonra anlıyoruz ki Brittany'nin hayal gücünün ürünüymüş. Filmin tek eziyeti konuyu seyirciye geçirememesi. Gereksiz yere uzatmak için elinden geleni yapmışlar. Öyle bir piyano çalarım ki ağlatırım.

More like 'The Shining - Part II' but without anyone having the ability to shine. So instead I guess 'The Part II'

A girl who survived a terrible personal tragedy hides out in an old house for the safety and solitude in order to write, but ghostly apparitions begin to haunt her and ultimately endanger her life. I liked how the storyline got tied back to reality by the ending. An unexpected surprise ending that actually made sense. Rare for a horror story.

I feel like I'm the only who didn't hate this flick. Didn't think it was good, but come on, Tier 1? Also, sadly, the best I recall seeing the late Ms Murphy look

All I saw were inexcusably weak women. Admittedly I did not put much effort into watching this one, but I don't think there was much there anyway.

A annoying bunch of cliches, incredibly poorly written with many holes in the plot.
