Perhaps the ultimate example of style over substance. Fliegauf's interminably slow pacing is a challenge, and while his ethereal underworld environment and Tarkovsky-like explorations of physical space can be mesmerising, one wishes there was more going on underneath at the level of story and characters. Is there a deeper meaning - like the film itself is on drugs, or has some message about them? It feels like something's afoot, but not everyone will have the patience to decipher what.
