British racing movie of the dull kind. Some style and wild racing shots, but the story, presentation and it's characters are terribly unengaging. Borrows a lot from James Cagney's The Crowd Roars (1932), or several other racing pictures, where someone dies on the track and the driver loses his nerve. But this one has a surprising lack of spirit.
