Deep Burial

Monaghan is pretty good here, but the story and writing are contrived, predictable, and so damned dumb that I find it hard to believe that people invested in it, not many though, judging by the motorcycle helmets supposedly passing as the helmet of a hazmat suit.

Dominic Monaghan's offbeat and increasingly-unhinged performance is probably the primary highlight of what is somewhere between an underwhelming and passable Sci-Fi thriller. The narrative does become incrementally more interesting as it plays out, until a mediocre fight sequence and superheroed-out escape sequence manages to tank not only the denouement of Monaghan's story, but the sentimentality of Habel's. Visuals were fine, otherwise this is little more than a footnote, though not horrible.
