Sure, it's a great premise with a horrible script. But it's John Candy at his very best. I can't *not* like this movie. And I'd watch it again.

That year's Soapdish was better with a similar premise. Was John Candy just doomed to mostly star in terminally-mediocre films?

An excellent idea that falls flat in execution, despite the best efforts of John Candy.

Not one of Candy's better vehicles, but still tolerable.

A final fling for that distinctive style of 80's type comedy that Candy and several of his colleagues were famous for. "Delirious" is in fact pretty shit, and in pretty much every department too. Candy makes it worth watching though, just about.

Candy is capable and charming, but like many of his choices, the material is shit.

John Candy is great. The bit with Robert Wagner is great. Not the best written comedy ever, but the premise works.

John Candy is good in this movie but even he can't over come the bad script. Most of the supporting characters i n this film are uninteresting. Overall this comedy does not deliver.
