Delta Force 2

Forgettable Chuck Norris action B-movie fodder. Although while it's a noticeable step down from the original, "The Delta Force"(1986), part of me enjoyed its simple generic evil drug lord revenge-action 'plot' a bit. Sadly however, the more of these Chuck Norris movies I see, the more I think I might just prefer my Chuck Norris in meme form.

This one is pretty bad even for this type of B-Movie mid-late 80s action fare. The only highlight is when Chuck Norris is on screen doing what he does best. In fact there is very little Chuck until the last half of the film which could be why it was so boring. It gets much better towards the end buts it's too little too late. Oh and Billy Drago once again confounds me with the fact that aside from his ugly villainous mug he has no acting skill to speak of, and yet he keeps getting movie rolls.

About as dull and racist as the first one, pretty much the only common thread.

Delta Force 2 is one of the poorest excuses for a sequel I can recall. Other than the inclusion of leading man Chuck Norris, this sequel is unrecognisable of it's predecessor. This film cannot be labelled disappointing though as the first film was by no means spectacular either. But if there's one thing that this sequel has to offer that the first film lacked, it's karate showboating from Chuck Norris. And the karate montages and fight scenes on show here are worth a watch for Chuck Norris fans.

Well I atleast expected some classic Chuck Norris cheesiness. It didn't even deliver that. A flat and boring action flick.

*lol* Norris is sooo god damn bad especially in that "great" action flick. stupid crap but perfect for a round with your buddys.
