It starts out kinda nice. It's got some creepy stuff going and the premise is different from the norm. Then you start to notice it just uses the same pattern to tell the story, which is pretty much: Hey, there's normal-ish stuff happening now. But oh no, there is a flashback/trauma! Iowuwuwuwi! WIWIWUUUU! CREEPY STUFF! OH NO! SPIDER! BLOOD! WIWIWIU. Oh yeah back to normal stuff- WIWIWIWIUUU! Yeah honestly it gets so bad that you'll just go what the fuck happened here.
