Densetsu kyojin ideon: Hatsudou-hen

Overall the story was only average and I didn't really care about any of the characters but, man did they really go for it in this anime, they pulled no punches and I was there for it.

They don't call him "Kill 'em All" Tomino for nothin'! What an infuriatingly suitable ending to the Ideon series. I don't want it to end the way it does and yet there it goes.

Star Wars, as adapted by a severely depressed nerd clawing his way out of one hell of mixed state. It's refreshing in its hopelessness, but other than that it's middle of the road in terms of actual quality.
