Legendary casting for a disgusting little fling! You couldn't get a more gloomy screen couple then Asta Nielsen & Conrad Veidt in European cinema back in those days. Nielsen plays a girl of the streets trying to turn good, but temptations from her old pimp distracts her and it all goes south. With two such expressive actors one could have always hoped for something even more destructive then this rather routine tragedy, but just to witness those two socializing is reward enough.
