Derren Brown: Enigma

"Guess Whom" is Brown (and Andy Nyman) at his on-stage best (okay, "Oracle" from WONDERS), taking a basic card trick and brilliantly expanding it into a full-participation affair that convinces the audience they've witnessed another effect entirely (the way he buries the selection and reinforces "the person you're thinking of" and not "the photo you picked"). He also doesn't lose the crowd even after likening a number of them to the incestuous offspring of Josef Fritzl. Now that's showmanship.
