Bo Huang is a funny looking guy hitting it big in Chinese cinema, and for good reason, he's a great actor. This one is a mostly light hearted mystery that does an awful good job painting the picture of the most disliked member of a village, and true to Chinese conventions, tries and succeeds at tugging on the heartstrings by the end by way of empathy toward the guy that the whole movie had been making a case against. It's a hard task to do, but was successful, and pretty entertaining at that.
