Desperate Measures

A low-budget British spin on Oldboy. I don't think it's too much of a spoiler to say that revenge comes into the equation, and the ultimate payoff isn't really that much cop, in my opinion. Still, the journey there is decent enough, calling to mind Shell, Dead Man's Shoes and the TV series Cracker, at junctures. Worth watching if you should stumble across it (for my part, it was a Poundland purchase, and it's worth the £1). more @ lbxd
