Tom Mix's Destry Rides Again (1932) is nothing like James Stewart's Destry Rides Again (1939). This one more or less licensing the name of the famous western novel to make "just another B-western" for Universal. There are some attempts at giving it some personality with close-ups of Mix's face, and simple things like that. Weird that such basic effects was largely ignored by poverty row directors. Anyway, this one's half-decent. Had a few quality actors and good hands working behind the camera.
