One of very few films where the quality of direction is on display. And of course he had to have the actors to pull it off, which they did, especially Pollak. It also helped that the technical aspects of the dialogue were so accurate--which didn't unfortunately translate to a still which was supposed to show a B2, but was an F-117.

Top badass moment? The American President ordering a nuclear attack is about as badass as you can get. Shame it's not a good type of badass. I wouldn't like to piss him off though; or play poker. No cats, chainsaws or decapitations.

Good. With all communications down during a snow storm, a US president stranded in a roadside diner must decide whether to nuke an innocent nation.

If you were President of the United States, would use the bomb? This is really good "situation room" drama that takes place with the Predident snowbound in Colorado and the world on the edge of war. The direction and acting are good, the ideas will stick with you long after.
