A schooner disappears at sea without a trace. Years later, evidence of possible survivors prompts the mother of the schooner's mate Jose to hire a tuna boat to investigate. They discover the lad living happily on a South Seas island, and, when he refuses to leave with them, they abduct him. Apparently this was edited from a movie called The Sea Fiend (1936). A very bad movie. Even from the footage that was professionally shot was bad, and they chopped together the rest with random travelogue/stock footage. Prepared for the worst, there was times I felt they at least were onto something with the story within the limitations they had, but when it came to the key scenes to create excitement, it fails to such degrees that there's no escaping this being a stinker.
