Dhoom: 3

Dhoom 3's action scenes are so carelessly over-the-top they make American action movies seem pathetically restrained by realism. Motorcycles leap on command, characters practically fly... and you will never see so many people making extremely serious faces in slow motion. Unfortunately the story almost completely changes after intermission and the action is kept to one somewhat disappointing finale. Lives up to, but doesn't necessarily exceed, the expectations set by Dhoom 2.

This film is half perfect, half just straight-up bad. Amir Khan is obviously fantastic, the Dark Knight/Prestige ripoff vibe is kinda fun, the moral compass of the film is just really weird. India still has the death penalty, so maybe what happens to the antagonists makes more sense in context. I dunno. It feels really off though. SPOILERS The mentally handicapped villain commits suicide. Justice is served. This is really not seen as that big of a deal by anyone in the film
