After taking a wrong turn on a White House tour, teens Betsy Jobs (Dunst) and Arlene Lorenzo (Williams) stumble across a room packed full of presidential secrets. To find out exactly what the girls know, "Tricky Dick" Nixon (Hedaya) himself appoints them as official White House dog walkers. Suddenly and accidentally, the two girls are swept up in the political intrigue of the world's most famous break-in: Watergate. (Columbia Tristar)

A good double bill with "All the President's Men".

A comical and at time clever retelling of the 'Watergate scandal'. It's interesting viewing this in post-Trump times. While both Dunst and Williams bring complexity to their portrayal of clueless teenagers that is much needed for this type of film to work, it is Ferrell and McCulloch (that hair!) as Woodward and Bernstein that provide most of the laughs.

A clever, funny slice of alternate history, Dick farcically re-imagines the Watergate era and largely succeeds, thanks to quirky, winning performances from Michelle Williams, Kirsten Dunst and Will Ferrell.

Enjoyably funny. Perhaps my view is tainted by loving it when i was 10, but i still think that it is a rather enjoyable, funny movie.

One of those Kristen Dunst silly movie choices you're embarrassed to follow.

I relaly wanted to like this film. I love the cast, and the premise... well it doesn't completely suck. But I didn't like this film and I hope to never see it again.

Pretty bad, but Ferrell's Woodward is hillarious.

Dunst and Williams are amazing in this as well as every side actor stealing scenes (shout out obvs my kids in the hall kings). Works because the imitations are trying to nail imitation and rather just focus on the funny. A decent send up of the 70’s paranoia spy thriller. Not my bag socially or politically as it treats Nixon in an oafish way. Still funny tho!

Dick is mildly amusing if otherwise unremarkable. The way in which plot works itself around historical events is cute but shallow. There aren't many laugh-out-loud moments, but a good cast keeps the film watchable throughout, especially whilst spotting the younger selves of plenty of actors before I encountered them for the first time.

Silly yet also funny movie that mocks the whole Watergate business in typical 1990s fashion. Dunst and Williams are marvelous together. Doesn't have enough bite though.

Another I forgot to review and my memory is fading now. Silly comedy surrounding the Watergate events. A fair few amusing moments but nothing that made me laugh out loud. Watchable but no more than that.

A guilty pleasure, undoubtedly, but it's like a poor man's Forrest Gump. I enjoy the contrast between the historical setting and the comically aloof teenagers.

Each of the leads are extremely charming, Kirsten Dunst because she's so gorgeous and Michelle Williams because she's Michelle Williams, and the fact that I find Nixon fascinating helps too. If nothing else, it provides some of the strongest evidence yet that Andrew Fleming is an severely underrated and ignored filmmaker.

Amusing & clever with attention to detail. Not many actual laughs for me though. Michelle's delivery is frequently excellent, & she's cute as a button.

Haven't seen this in a while, so I might need to refresh my memory by watching it again. From what I recall, it suprisingly wasn't TOO awful. (Score stands as is, until I feel like watching it again.)

It's SNL-grade, all right, but the resultant spin on Watergate is sharper and more interesting than anything in "A Night At The Roxbury" or "Superstar".

Strictly for those with an appreciation for silly, SNL-style satire. Some bright lights doing an extended sketch- Kirsten and Michelle Williams are actually quite funny in the leads.

Tried to watch it, but couldn't get into it. I gave it a fair half hour and it still didn't have me. Too ditsy and unbelievable/unbearable.

I loved this, it's hilarious! Dan Hedaya is perfect as Nixon. The two leads are well cast and believable as two 15 year-olds. The music is good, too. Someone said this should be double-billed with ALL THE PRESIDENT'S MEN, so true. Watch this one after.

The splash of ditzy teen girl naivety (Williams and Dunst perfect the parts with plenty of Napoleon Dynamite-esque geekiness to go with the shrieks and giggles) amidst the no-nonsense world of politics is uproarious, and even more so as the leads start to get wise ("It's too much pressure!") and confident (see the perfect final scene: "You suck, Dick!"). The exaggerated 70s setting offers more to enjoy (see their ridiculous outfits, Carl's hairpiece, and the disco soundtrack) in this fun comedy.
