Brigitte Helm and her friend Lucie Englisch are fed-up with small parts in movies and drive off with a studio car right in the middle of a take and ends up on the run registering at a hotel under false name pretending to be a countess and maid. And then they meet other swindlers and it just gets too silly. Had potential with one swindler, but then the good swindler kind of ruined it. Didn't turn out to be a very entertaining movie in the end.
