Not nearly as impressive as Lumières' film

This dance was obviously very popular at the turn of the century, given how many of the pioneers of cinema felt the need to make it one of the first things they filmed. This one really shows you the limitations of the Skladanowsky's camera compared to either Edison's or the Lumières'--it just doesn't capture all that fast and fluid movement nearly as well.

Hard to rank for it is merely interesting for its historicity.
