The composer and the free spirit. The artist tries to tame his muse, a wild nightclub dancer, that he's fallen madly in love with. At first this feels like a slightly perverse and creepy film with that very distinct German tone which made their silent cinema so great. But then.... it turns into a rather conventional romance of longing for each other and loses a lot of it's spirit. And worse... the 4th and final act was missing....
