Die verkaufte Braut

This was a fine German musical about lovers running away from an arranged marriage and joins a circus. The costumes and settings are nice and the shots as beautiful as a German silent, but with added on music and singing set in a nice visual rhythm. My favorite characters was the circus director and his wife. Cute interaction there. Sadly the rest of the cast wasn't as interesting even if there was a moment you could see Max Schreck (Nosferatu himself) in a brief speaking role.
