Disclosure

Melodramatic, facile drama attempts a fiery dissection of a #MeToo scenario, but never takes off or progresses beyond the indeterminate incident, instead going round in circles over the same talking points, ultimately becoming dull and dreary. Neither Bentham’s screenplay nor direction are nimble enough to overcome the “single set” conceit, and the overwrought performances by the leading quartet don’t help matters.
