Starts off Interesting, gets dull for about an hour, ends horribly and leaves you with nothing. Dolans Cadillac is a film with no existing plot, no real relatable emotions and nothing special to offer an audience. Slater, Vaugier and Bentley act as blandly as possible, all three characters have no development. This film is just really boring, it becomes a mess the further it drags on, you cant even feel where Robinson is coming from in the end because it is so outrageous. Annoying flick.

There's a reason that Dolan's Cadillac went direct-to-DVD. It simply isn't all that good, even if it doesn't have a completely unknown cast. It simply fails at thrilling or entertaining its audience, as it doesn't feature a lead character who we can root for. I didn't care if he got his revenge, and at times, I actually wanted to see him fail, just because the bad guy made me laugh more. This isn't a good film, and it doesn't deserve your 90 minutes.

Seems to go on forever, and it's only 1h25mins....Easy to see why Slater hasn't got a career anymore.

Jesli przyknac oko na niski budzet filmu, przecietna gre aktorska i po macoszemu potraktowane uzasadnienie motywow kierujacych bohaterami (rowniez negatywnymi ;-), jest to calkiem przyjemny film. A zwlaszcza jego ostatnie 25 minut :-) Nie ma sie czego wstydzic - poprawna ekranizacja opowiadania S. Kinga

I must admit that I am not sure if the reason this movie did not do it for was the fact that I had envisioned others for the lead roles. I always thought that Matt Frewer would have done a great job as the lead but since he is not a 'A' level star he tends to not get roles like this.

Bad even for a King filmatization. Slater and the script are the worst offenders.

Nothing special here except a satisfying last fifteen minutes. It's a shame that by that point the rest is so boring that you forget the whole plot.

Not very realistic, and had a lot of set up, but the ending was a very cool idea.

The coolest thing about it is the premise, and the rest is just really awkwardly made. I'm sure it was much better in writing than it was on the screen, due in particular to how long the last scene dragged on. It's a lot harder to sympathize with such a sadistic protagonist on-screen, where audiences can't see the extent of his emotional motivation and development

Brings nothing, does nothing, gives nothing. Accounting for Slater's career, this ends up being the film equivalent of a 2-day-old stale Peep. It's at least competent.

The acting is over the top and the story one of the dumber ones from King.

Hated the short story (I believe it's the opener in Stephen King's "Nightmares & Dreamscapes"), and hated this as well.

Not the greatest plot, but truly powerful performances and an interesting although not great storyline.

The novella's one of the greatest short stories ever written. Alas, the film is demonstrably not one of the greatest movies ever made. It's got all the strengths of the source material going for it, but that's about it, sadly; the acting's weak, the direction is uninvolving, the structure sucks and the narrative flourishes fail. More like D'oh!-lan's Cadillac, am I right?
