Ingenius celebration of mixture of styles. The mood was there and human worn puppet costumes (with strings attached the top of actors) were marvelously done. The story was also the old one. The film was too long and partly sluggish and some of editing was aged.

Man-sized puppets that can run around freely and go on a murderous hunt. Jesper as a not-so-smart helper brings even more joy to the screen!
