Don't Raise the Bridge, Lower the River

A British style comedy of the period with a somewhat restrained Lewis randomly inserted. Made during his commercial decline, Jerry presumably accepted to work under the direction of another, significantly less talented Jerry (re:Jerry 'Police Academy' Paris) to produce this rather indifferently made comedy, which is unfortunate given the talent involved who had lousy material to work with. It's busy, but it makes little sense, and Paris never settles on a stable tone or rhythm.
