You'll be left scratching your head so much you'll bore a hole right through your skull. The absurdity of the plot, restarting human life on Venus, should get you down to the bone in and of itself. [Cinematic Titanic: Now this is more like it. Lots of great zingers and while the skits aren't good they're certainly not their worst.]

I knew I was in for a treat when I saw one of the Youtube tags for this film was "sexy sci-fi." But oh, don't think of watching this for the sexy or the fi (or even the hyphen). This movie is all about the science. From zero-g that affects nothing on the ship but ham sandwiches, to our captain claiming ship problems are a result of the 'altitude,' to a warning from the doctor that viewing the nuclear war-ravaged Earth through the ships periscope for 'too long' could result in radiation exposure.

Worth watching for the reclining chairs as space chairs.

The movie in the middle doesn't make much sense - you know it takes more than six people for a viable population, right? - but it's the tacked-on bit at the beginning and ESPECIALLY the interminable padding at the end that push it into "should never have been released" territory.

Every fucking time with the goddamn meteors in these movies. They should have left it unifinished, that ending is truly painful.

Health warning: Don't make a drinking game out of the scientific inaccuracy of this movie.
