Doroga k zvezdam

Starts with really quite a good explanation of the basic elements of rocket science, and most of the predictions in the second half aren't too far off the money. It seems indubitable that not just some of the ideas but some of the shots directly inspired very similar ones in Kubrick's own road to the stars a decade later. On the other hand, it's also incredible how vast a distance there seems to be between the two representations of the future of space travel.
