Double Dynamite

Heavily underdeveloped and full of air. Sinatra plays his part properly, but one must expect more from Groucho.

I've seen better pictures with Groucho. But this isn't horrible.

"...resembles Frank Sinatra" - Police sending out the description of the character played by Frank Sinatra. And just you wait until you hear the description given to Jane Russell! Not the best of comedies, but it's harmless fun with a trio that also includes Groucho Marx. Simply a cheerful one.

While I'll concede that the following statement seems thoroughly improbable, Frank Sinatra and Groucho Marx make a dandy comedic team. The script is hardly a work of genius, but the two have a nice rapport together and Groucho gets just enough nicely Grouchoesque lines to make this a respectable outing away from his brothers. Russell, on the other hand, is awkward, occasionally almost amateurish, as the banker's beloved.
