Louie the Parrot finds a written will stating that his master bequeathes the family fortune not to him, but to his fellow household pet, a lunkheaded cat named Heathcliff, with the proviso that Louie is next in line to inherit the wealth if Heathcliff dies. Another one of those generic kind of lame random Looney Tunues shorts that feature famous voices with different characters attached. These type of shorts don't really work for me.

The characters aren't bad. Davis's animation is much looser than the other three remaining directors' at this point but lacks the inventiveness and eccentricity (of someone like Clampett) to feel artful. Some of the gags are funny, but it's not clear why they're even attempted, since the cat's demise would need to look like an accident.
