Down to Their Last Yacht

Down to Their Last Yacht (1934) is just a bizarre piece of comic escapism. Starts out promising enough with the previously rich, newly rich and current crooks together for a cruise. Then.... They throw in a few forgettable songs and all of a sudden they're stranded on some island where Mary Boland becomes the tribe's queen talking gibberish. And instead of all these surreal ideas taking off, it only serves for the backdrop to some passionless romance with the blandest actors in the cast.
