It feels like a student film. Vera Fermiga gives a great performance but there just wasn't enough here that I haven't seen in drug addict movies before. It drags a lot as well.

Pretty dull. Strong performance from Farmiga is almost worth it.

a little on the boring side, and not much at all like the summary makes it out to be...but a well-acted movie, even if it does drag.

A thematic trilogy that includes Clean and Pure, it strips away everything glamorous about addiction- no jump cuts, no cool hallucinatory visuals, it's all about the overcast gloom and sometimes but not always about the inability to pull yourself out of the abyss.

i am a fan of ms. farmiga and she doesn't dissapoint in this film as she gives a stirring portrayal of an addict trying to get her life togerther.......a strong supporting cast of interesting and believable characters is a big plus also.

Grim but realistic non judgmental portrayal of the cycle of addiction. A moving understated central performance is the highlight.
