Franco is actually surprisingly good as the lead in this comedy, and the sly dog gives himself a threesome scene with Lina Romay and Martine Stedil, his two hottest regulars from the 70s. The narration is hilarious, the story is a coherent spoofing of noir/crime films, the soundtrack is sweet smooth jazz, and the chicks are smoking hot. Great stuff.

Well, Franco movies aren't just all about sexualised violence and sleaze. Okay, it's almost always about sleaze. But it's not always about sexualised violence. Believe it or not, he does also know how to make comedic movies - at least when he's not writing the script thus making Downton a pretty entertaining movie almost being parodistic exploiting the film noir genre. Just make sure to have the remote control at hand to fast forward the multiple shots of Romays ever-present crotch.
