Not much need for a review. Not good. The whole animal mafia thing was kind of cool, but who really cares. The rest of the characters were completely uninteresting and unfunny. And I really didn't understand where a lot of the conflict within the family was coming from. It didn't make much sense. Pointless sequel.

If you have to choose between watching this and getting gangbanged by a group of ex-cons, think carefully.

Along with "The Nutty Professor II: The Klumps," this was the beginning of the end for Eddie Murphy.

Kitsch movies have no place being remade, and certainly do not deserve a sequel. This is proof of such a notion.

An ok comedy that delivers a few chuckles in its' very family orientated humour. It at least is a decent enough story to make it all the way through.

I actually think I like this one better than the first. And The only thing I can think to attribute this to is Steve Zahn as "Archie the bear". I love Steve Zahn- I mean, even his *voice* is funny. Eddie Murphy was never really a big draw for me, but for those familiar with his work, he might entertain. Also, this may well be the last credible role Ms. Raven Simone can claim. Good family movie. Funny and uplifting- with appearances by Jeffrey Jones, Kevin Pollack and Andy Richter. And t

Eddie Murphy when Rated PG-13. Low brow laughs, or rather low brow very mild laughs, are delivered. If you're a serious Eddie Murphy fan or find animals given human qualities hilarious then give it a shot. Clearly just riding on the success of the first film without adding anything to it. Although, to be fair, the part with Steve Irwin was funny.

I thought the bear, and the interactions between John and his daughter's boyfriend were pretty funny. Also digged the soundtrack. I guess this review should be humiliating based on the others. I'm surprised the movie didn't speak to you guys, since you're obviously a bunch of animals! But I kid

Not that the original was Kubrick or anything, but the sequel is bad enough to act as an argument in favour of retaining the death penalty.

So, the problem I had with the first film was the fact that there's no real narrative story goal, but it had great comedy. It's the opposite here. There's a story goal now, but the comedy isn't as strong, and that probably has to do with the fact that the story goal in question is too much of a social commentary on protecting wildlife, and that's a serious issue...so in turn...it's not funny.

This movie didn't really need to be made. What's good: Kevin Pollak (always good, wasted here), Jeffrey Jones is always a treat (but he's done better too). What's bad: Eddie Murphy is just un-funny and Raven Symone is one of my least favorite actresses.

One of the very few films I walked out on (and I was only there because it was free and the only thing playing at the time). This movie would fit right in next to awful ABC Family shows like That's So Raven... or it would if it weren't so vulgar and boring, so it even misses those lofty heights.
