Dr. Kildare's Strange Case

The 5th instalment of the Dr. Kildare cinema series (4th starring Lew Ayres) was easily the weakest up to that point. The story didn't hit a nerve like the previous films. Not that it hasn't got it's healthy antidotes. Just feels a little slow and quiet, regardless of Lionel Barrymore bringing the noise you need to listen to.

this is a kildare movie for completionists only, but it's far greater than most other series that have made it to the fifth installment.
